Patchwork blankets from the American Folk Art Museum. All the blankets on show were pretty amazing, although in truth I had hoped for an eclectic mix of outsider art and a glimps into the strange universe of imagination that can be found in so much of the fantastic American Folk Art.

Beautiful finds from the Metropolitan Museum of Art

I found these amazing beads in a store on Rivington Street. They are all individually made from wax wire and cast as a whole. What I love is the hollow construction.
